Applications for the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year of the Master in Action Research and Transformation Program are now open!

Applying to the mART program

Applicants to the mART Program should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 10 years of managerial experience.

The application process begins by completing the online application form, which is available below. Following this, all short-listed candidates are expected to attend a personal interview on campus. Further information about the application requirements can be found below. We strongly encourage all applicants to visit our campus, if possible, to attend classes and meet current students. Our classes take place at Sabancı University's Altunizade Digital Campus on weekday evenings and Saturdays.

Applications are made on-line through the Apply Now page. Candidates are invited for an interview and the assessment is based on the review of the application file. In addition to the web-based application, the following documents are required to complete an application:

  • Graduation certificate/ diploma from an undergraduate institution
  • Transcripts for undergraduate and, if applicable, graduate studies
  • Detailed resume including specific information on work experience
  • Two letters of recommendation (Please use SU Recommendation Letter Form)
  • Letter of Intent
  • English Proficiency Exam Result: Accepted English proficiency exams and the minimum required scores are given in the following table. A photocopy of exam results is acceptable for application, but original documents should be submitted during admission. The validity period for these scores are as follows: KPDS, ÜDS, YDS and YÖKDİL 5 years, CAE and CPE 3 years, TOEFL and PTE 2 years.

* According to the latest instruction letter for Foreign Language Exam Equivalencies issued by the Centre for Selection and Placement of Students in order for an exam to be accepted as equivalent, it must have taken place in a building owned by a state university.

  • Sabancı University English Language Assessment Exam (ELAE) will be held on July 29, 2023 and on August 19, 2023 at Sabancı University's Tuzla Kampüs.

Sabancı University English Language Assessment Exam (ELAE) is totally free, in order to take the exam, online application should be submitted.

mART program candidates are only responsible for the "Writing" part of the ELAE exam. For more information about the exam click here.
