Sabancı Business School ARAMA Chair Project Assistant Announcement
Sabancı Business School, ARAMA Chair would like to announce a new vacancy for a full-time, 9-month long position in the capacity of Project Assistant in the Project entitled, ‘Searching for a new formula for collaboration between Turkey and the EU in North Africa’ to be conducted between March 2021 and November 2021. The project aims to examine the ‘Africa strategies’ of Turkey and the European Union (EU) in order to understand to what extent Africa could provide a venue for cooperation between the two actors in the areas of economic, political and social cooperation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Officer will be working closely with and reporting directly to Project Manager. The officer will be responsible for:
• Assisting Project Manager in the overall management of the project and where necessary other tasks related to the Chair;
• Assisting project team in conducting research and preparing relevant publications;
• Assisting project team on activity/event organization;
• Assisting Project Manager in the preparation and submission of project publications.
Candidate’s Requirements:
• The candidate must hold a Master’s degree or be a Master’s or PhD student in Management, Political Science or International Relations. Other disciplines may be considered based on merit and experience;
• The candidate must be a native Turkish speaker and have an excellent level of English;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite esp. MS Word and Excel;
• The candidate must be based in Istanbul, Turkey.
