Sabancı Business School - Milestones

  • 1999 - Sabancı University opens with an official ceremony at the Karaköy Building
  • 1999 - Prof. Muhittin Oral is appointed as the first Dean of SBS 
  • Program milestones (including programs we no longer have like LFI and ITM)
    • 1999 - MBA, EMBA and PhD programs are started
    • 2001 - LFI program was started (ended in 2011)
    • 2001 - Faculty gives diplomas to its first graduates of the MBA and Executive MBA programs.
    • 2003 - BA in Management program is started
    • 2005 - ITM program was started and ended in 2008
    • 2006 - SBS graduates its first PhD student
    • 2007 - SBS graduates its first BA in Management students   
    • 2008 - MIF program is started
    • 2008 – CAFÉ, Finance laboratory is open
    • 2011 - Dual degree programs with MIT Sloan School of Management and MIT-Zaragoza start
